Nationwide TV Advertising Rates

You can buy nationwide Total TV and TV advertising for Nelonen, Liv, Jim and Hero, and also for video. You can buy advertising as a package or tailor it to the channels and video you want.


Prices valid from 1 January to 31 December 2025.

Ready-made packages (Total TV, TV)

The advertiser selects the target group, the number of contacts, the campaign period, the spot lengths. Total TV package includes TV channels and video. TV package includes TV channels. The channel proportions and prime/off distribution of the packages are based on the natural viewing patterns of the selected target group, as well as the capacity situation of the channels. The campaign can be weighted by week and spot length, or you can buy additional programmes with a fixed
target group deal.

Customisable packages (Total TV flexible, TV flexible)

The advertiser chooses the target group, number of contacts, campaign period, spot lengths, TV channels (1-4), video share (between 5-50%) and
prime time share. Total TV flexible package includes TV channels and video. TV Flexible Package includes TV channels. The campaign can be differentiated by week and spot length, or you can also buy the programmes you want with a fixed target group deal.

The Total TV Flexible option allows you to choose between 1-4 TV channels and the proportion of video (with a 5%-50% weighting range). You can choose the weighting of the channels and the proportion of prime time.

Other products (Total TV, TV)

The whole campaign can be purchased in the desired programme contexts. The method of purchase is programme buying, with programmes from all channels available for selection. If desired, it is also possible to buy the desired advertising break (fixed break) and the place in the advertising break (fixed spot). Contact guarantee for target group 3+.

 

The whole campaign can be purchased in the desired TV program, which are profiled for the target group 25-64. The purchase method is a fixed target group buying and programs from all channels can be selected. If desired, it is also possible to buy the desired advertising break (fixed break) and the slot in the advertising break
(fixed spot). Contact guarantee for the target group 25-64.

 

You can buy up to three ads per ad break. The order in which the advertisements are placed in the break can be chosen.

The contact forecast is given for each show separately. Contact guarantee for the target group 25-64. Advertising on Nelonen, Jim, Liv, Hero.

 

In programme buying and fixed target group buying, you can specify the desired ad break for an additional 4%.

You can secure the first, second, penultimate or last slot of the desired break for an additional 8% per show.

Floating programme collaboration

Floating programme collaboration is possible not only for TV channels (Nelonen, Jim, Liv, Hero), but also for video with Ruutu Premium Impact.

In floating programme collaboration the advertiser's tags are displayed in connection with the programmes of different channels, depending on the selected target group. The tags are at the beginning, at the end of the programmes, and at the beginning and end of one commercial break. The programmatic tag counts as a program period and therefore follows the Traficom's guidelines for sponsorship.

Channels in the same time slot are booked in the same campaign and are given a joint contact guarantee. The guarantee is conditional on a minimum campaign period of two (2) weeks.

The available tag lengths are 5+5 and 10+5 seconds for TV. In video, one tag length of 5 or 10 seconds is allowed.

 

The floating programme collaboration offers a choice of 1-4 TV channels and video. Channel weighting and prime time share are selectable.

About campaigns and buying

A total TV and TV campaign is a package booked and confirmed at once to promote the same product or service. Separate campaigns by the same advertiser shall be considered a single campaign package if there is a break of seven (7) days or less between campaigns and the same advertisement(s) and/or target purchase group are used.

A TV campaign may consist of a combination of floating target group sales, fixed target group sales and programmatic buying. A nationwide campaign in Nelonen may combine regional advertising where both have a target audience of +3 year olds.

 

The indicative time interval for prime time is 18.00-23.59 and
off prime time 24.00-17.59. The time of day is determined by the start time of the programme.

Campaigns have only one contact guarantee, which is granted for the whole period of time for the target group of the campaign.
Package purchases have a total contact guarantee, not a channel-specific guarantee.

Campaign-specific contact guarantee limits

Total TV and TV products 50-65 TRP depending on the target group. Men 25-64 are guaranteed 50 TRP, other target groups 65 TRP.

Total TV Flexible and TV Flexible according to the channels selected: Nelonen 30 TRP, Jim 15 TRP, Liv 15 TRP, Hero 5 TRP.

For campaigns of seven (7) days or less, no guarantee will be given during the campaign, but any shortfall in contacts will be compensated in the next campaign or, with the customer's consent, by extending the campaign. Compensation must be used within three (3) months after the campaign has ended. If the campaign is less than 1 TRP, no underage contacts will be refunded. No cash refunds will be made for contact guarantee underruns.

Quarter-specific Guarantees

Used when a customer has a large number of small or short duration campaigns.

Verification of the contact guarantee

The contact guarantee is verified from the final audience figures of the TV measurement survey provided by Finnpanel, according to the cut-off audience.
For video on Total TV, contacts are verified from the results of the SpotOn video advertising measurement.

All prices shown are for a 30 second advertisement. For ads of different lengths, the price is obtained by multiplying the 30-second price by the length factors below.

Total TV ads have a maximum length of 60 seconds.

You can buy regional Total TV and TV advertising for eleven different regions. Regional TV advertising is shown on Nelonen.

Buying method

The advertiser selects the desired presentation area, the campaign budget or number of contacts, the campaign period and the spot lengths. The campaign can be shown on TV on Nelonen or on Total TV on Nelonen with a video (product Ruutu Premium Reach). The purchase method is target group sales. Pricing is based on the contact price.

The same principles apply to regional target group sales as to national target group sales. The buying target group is 3+.

Two advertisements from the same customer in the same ad break can be shown as a break connection. Additional fee +10 %.

Rates

Regional TV advertising available for purchase on Nelonen for eleven different viewing areas. In addition to Nelonen, Total TV also includes video advertising (Ruutu Premium Reach).
