Multichannel marketing has boosted Sortter's success

In the collaboration between Sortter and Sanoma, a spirit of experimentation, strong results orientation, and Finnish values come together.

Founded in 2018, Sortter has rapidly grown into Finland’s leading loan comparison service. The company’s success is no coincidence but the result of determined and innovative marketing. Reetta Sinelampi, Sortter’s Director of Business and Development, says that working with Sanoma has played a decisive role in building the brand and increasing awareness. 
 

In a competitive industry, multichannel presence and reliable media are key. Sortter's message has been communicated clearly and credibly, which has strengthened the brand's position in the minds of both consumers and businesses.

“We have found diverse ways to implement our marketing with domestic media and highlight the distinctive features of our service. We are always ready to try something new and have embraced new channels, which has been crucial for our growth,” Sinelampi explains. 

Reaching an engaged audience through Viaplay TV

The partnership has allowed us to react quickly and test new ideas. For example, Sortter became a pioneer on Viaplay TV’s sports channel and reached a committed and interested audience.

"In our brand marketing, we support sports in all its forms, ranging from supporting junior sports to various sports without being specifically attached to any one sport. When a new opportunity opened up, we jumped right in," Sinelampi says.

Reliability is an inbuilt part of Sortter's service.

"Sortter's marketing communications emphasise fairness, honesty, Finnish identity, clarity and being on the side of the customer. We have chosen to be present in trusted media, which has also strengthened the trustworthiness of the brand and helped us to differentiate ourselves from our competitors through our shared values."
