The TV programmes of spring 2026 are a diverse mix of intriguing new releases and familiar favourites
The highly anticipated Hildur series, based on Satu Rämö's best-selling novels, premieres on 26 January. With an episode budget of around €1 million, the series is one of Nelonen Media's biggest drama acquisitions to date.
The Voice of Finland will see Jenni Vartiainen take the red chair as a new star coach. The new series premieres on 23 January.
The well-loved Huvila & Huussi is now putting Finnish summer cottages in order with a brand-new presenter, as the upcoming series will be led by Marja Hintikka, joining the Nelonen crew for the first time. Huvila & Huussi will arrive on Ruutu and Nelonen in March.
TV viewers can once again hop on board a Finnish police patrol in the new observational reality series Poliisit 24/7 that premieres on 14 January. Poliisit 24/7 follows the work of police patrols in Kuopio, Oulu, Hyvinkää and Tampere.
This spring’s well-known favourites include Erikoisjoukot, premiering in February; Petolliset, Farmi Suomi and Kapen keittiökaappaus, arriving in March; and Tähdet, tähdet and Suuri seikkailu, starting in April.
The new series of the popular shows Syke and Koskinen can be viewed on Ruutu. Elisa Viihde's shows available on Ruutu include the new series of Ivalo and Pasilan Myrkky.
